Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy
The Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy is a Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy School, based on rigorous experimental foundations, and aligned to international standards, following the evidence-based and scientist-practitioner paradigms.
The beginnings of law education in Cluj go back to the end of the sixteenth century. For over three centuries education was conducted in Latin, German and Hungarian. Among the teachers in the Faculty of Law there are famous national personalities in the field of law.
The Association for Statement Validity Assessment in Child Sexual Abuse - AEVDAS
The Association for Statement Validity Assessment in Child Sexual Abuse - AEVDAS, brings together professionals from the field of forensic psychology and the judiciary system in an effort to improve the validity of prosecuting sexual crimes against children. We introduce to practitioners from these fields the use of evidence-based methods for interviewing, credibility assessment and counselling children victims of sexual abuse.
Faculty of European Studies, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania
The mission of the the Faculty of European Studies (FES) is to foster excellence both in research and in teaching European Studies, with a focus on generating expertise in the European integration process. The academic staff are consolidating European projects and implementing European resources in Romania and its neighbouring areas, through their involvement in community life, projects and networks designed to improve EU decision-making mechanisms, manage EU policies and resources and internalize values that stand at the core of the integration process.
ASCR Romanian Cognitive Sciences Association
The Romanian Cognitive Sciences Association was established in 2002 and takes part in the realization of the National Conferences of Cognitive Sciences, several international symposia, national and international research and development grants. The Association supports publications in the field of cognitive sciences: psychology, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, theoretical linguistics, anthropology, philosophy of mind.
Students Culture House Cluj-Napoca ”Dumitru Fărcaș” (Casa de Cultură a Studenților ”Dumitru Fărcaș”)
Students’ Culture House is an environment that develops the artistic and moral qualities of the young students and is an event space for cultural experimentation and promotion and affirmation of young talent. Currently, CCS brings together 18 art groups and three circles, clubs and courses. Records obtained through these formations include this institution being among the most prestigious cultural institutions in Cluj-Napoca.
